Justin Bieber meets fan who lost dad in 9/11

Picture

Teen idol Justin Bieber made a dream come true for a fan whose father died in 9/11 and proved US President Barack Obama is a man of his word. Obama met 14-year-old Payton Wall at an event at Ground Zero last month and told her he could arrange a meeting with Bieber. The White House contacted Bieber the same day — and last week the singer made good on Obama's promise by meeting Payton in New York. Bieber posed for snaps with Payton, her sister Avery and friend Madison Roberson. The meeting happened shortly after Bieber made an appearance to promote his fragrance Someday at Macy's, sparking a near riot by his devoted fans. Thrilled Payton proudly posted one of her snaps with Bieber on her Facebook page, making it her profile picture. The New Jersey teen told the New York Post: "It was so cool. I couldn't even believe it. He just said 'Hi.' He was asking us about the perfume and if we were wearing it." The three girls lost their fathers — Cantor Fitzgerald executives Glen James Wall and Donny Robertson — in the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers. Obama had told Payton: "I know Justin. Maybe I could set something up." And sure enough, he did.

Justin Bieber has revealed that he has started work on his next album. The 17-year-old said that he is in the planning and recording stages, and said that this time he is going to focus more on himself and less on collaborations with the likes of Chris Brown, Kanye West and Ludacris. "I want to work a lot with myself," he told MTV News. "And write a lot myself. I will be working with a lot of other producers and stuff like that, but I'm just writing a lot, writing on tour. "[I'm] writing about how I feel and producing. I've been producing on my laptop and on my computer," he said. "I've been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge." And he insisted that he is going to let the creative juices flow freely on his next offering. "I've done a lot on my acoustic guitar, so it's gonna have that vibe," he explained. "I'm not gonna really limit myself. I think music is music, and genre - I mean, I know there's country music, there's rock music, but my music is different. My voice is not meant for any style. I just want to make music."

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Kiss on Camera

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are getting much more comfortable about their relationship in front of the press. In fact, at a recent press conference in Indonesia, the pair didn't hesitate to lock lips before the cameras.

A video clip of the PDA moment shows the Canadian pop singer giving the Disney star a quick smooch on the mouth, before kissing her again on the cheek. How sweet!

Selena recently said she's cool with being more open about her relationship. "I don't like hiding," she explained to Seventeen. "I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I'm eighteen, and I'm going to fall in love. I'm going to hang out with people, and I'm going to explore myself, and I'm okay with that."

But are Beliebers going to be okay with that? Check out the video of Justin and Selena kissing and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
