Nexus S

AVAILABLE HERE: Jean-Pascal van Overbeke (left), chief operating officer of Maxis Berhad and Yu Jai Sul, managing director of Samsung Malaysia Electronics showing off the Google Nexus S smartphone at the launch in Kuala Lumpur recently.
For the first time a Google branded phone is available in Malaysia. The Nexus S runs on the latest Android operating system and it'll be the first to receive OS updates as and when Google releases them.
One of the unique features of the Nexus S is that the phone, along with its 4in screen, is slightly contoured, so that it will fit the hand better. With hardware made by Samsung, the Nexus S is meant to be
Google's flagship product to show off the capabilities of the OS with the best hardware available.
The Nexus S runs on a 1GHz processor with 16GB of storage, a 5-megapixel autofocus digital camera, WiFi and GPS built in.
The Nexus S is only the second such phone to carry the official Google branding, and the first to be officially released in this country.
The phone is exclusively available from telecommunications giant Maxis Bhd. It is offering the Nexus S for between RM1,799 and RM1,499 depending on the length of the contract.
Without a contract, the Nexus S will cost RM2,499.
