The San Mateo-Hayward Bridge is stretching 11,265.41 meters (36,960 ft) or 7.0 miles away. The bridge is crossing San Francisco Peninsula and the Easy bay. The western last point of the bridge ends in Foster City and the eastern last point ends in Hayward. The bridge is maintained by Caltrans and it is under the administration of California State.
8. Confederation Bridge
Confederation Bridge or also called The Fixed Link is stretching 12.9 kilometers or 8 miles long. It connects Prince Edward Island and New Brunkswick mainland in Canada. The Building construction was started in the fall 1993 and ended 4 years later in spring. The Construction was costing $1.3 billion and it was officially opened to serve the public in May 31, 1997.
7. Rio-Niteroi Bridge
The bridge is spanning 13,290 meters or 8.25 miles away. The Bridge links Rio De Janerio and Niteroi Brazil. The building plan was started on August 23, 1968 and it was watched by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip. In January, 1969, the construction was started and it was stopped in March 4, 1974 when the bridge was ready to serve. The other name of the bridge is “President Costa e Silva Bridge” but I think that name is too long too be remembered
6. Penang Bridge
Penang Bridge has total length 13.5km and it has 2 functions. First, The bridge links Gelugor on Pinang Island and Seberang Prai in Malay Peninsula and second, it connects North-South Expressway in Prai with the Jelutong Expressway in Penang. It has served public traffic since September 14, 1985, and it is one of the most popular national landmark together with twin tower in Kuala Lumpur

The bridge is the longest bridge in all Europe and it is spanning across the Tangus River near Portugal Capital city, Lisbon. The total length of the bridge is 17.2 km.11.5 km of the bridge is Viaducts, 4.8 km of the bridge is access roads, and 0,5 miles of the bridge is the main part of the bridge. The bridge is spanning over Chesapeake Bay and connecting the Eastern Shore and the western shore parts of the bay. Officially, the bridge is named William Preston Lane, Jr. Memorial Bridge to honor the former governor of Maryland, William Preston Jr, who contributed the construction idea.

Lake Pontchartrain Causeway is a 2 parallel bridge. The total length of the bridge is 23.87 miles or 38.42 km long. The bridge is crossing over Lake Pontchartrain of Southern California. The construction is supported by 8 miles concrete spanning from South to the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. The southern end point of the causeway lands in Metaire, Louisiana, and the northern end point finish at Mandeville Lousiana.
