Justin Bieber to Perform at 53rd Grammy Awards

The 'Grammy Awards' announced more performers for the show coming up on Feb. 13 and Justin Bieber is one of them. He'll be onstage with his mentor, Usher.

Justin Bieber has won awards and performed at award shows but this is the big time - the Grammy Awards. Bieber, who himself is up for two Grammys, was added to the list of those singers who will perform on February 13th at the Grammy Awards.
The show made the announcement in late January and some details were revealed. The Canadian singer will be part of a trio of singers, himself, his mentor Usher and actor/singer Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith. Jaden Smith is featured in Bieber's song Never Say Never and the song is the theme song of 'The Karate Kid', a film Smith starred in. No word as yet on what song, or songs, the three will perform.

Beiber Nominated for Two Grammy Awards

Of late Bieber, who before Christmas came off a lengthy tour, has been the subject of rumors that he and performer Selena Gomez are dating. Since coming off tour he's been busy recording and appearing at shows such as the 'People's Choice Awards' and the 'Golden Globes', where he was a presenter.

The Grammy nominations were announced back on December 1 and Bieber got the nod for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal album for his My World 2.0. His response at the time? His tweet, sent while on a short promo tour in Europe, read in part:
"Ok kinda shellshock. Well not kinda…totally shellshock. Don’t even remember what I said. #HOLYCRAP just went to bed and thought i was nominated for 1 #grammy and was already freakin out…then @scooterbraun just called me...2 NOMINATIONS!! what!?!? what?!?!!? 2!"

Along with Bieber, Usher and Smith the 'Grammy Awards' announced that Bruno Mars, Muse, B.o.B., Lady Antebellum and Janelle Monae will be performing. Previously announced as performers at the awards show were Lady Gaga, Cee Lo, Katy Perry, Eminem and Arcade Fire.
Bieber recently had a health scare from which he now appears to be fully recovered. He was rushed to the hospital in L.A. over a week ago from the set of CSI: Las Vegas due to what his reps have called a "minor" allergic reaction. He's been seen in public a number of times since
